As an office team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our campground and providing administrative support to each department.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general office duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, greeting visitors, and more.
- Take reservations and optimize guests based on their requirements.
- Enter reservations and store purchases into the computer system accurately and efficiently.
- File and maintain documents, both physical and electronic, ensuring proper organization and confidentiality.
- Proofread documents for errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Transcribe meeting minutes and other important information as needed.
- Provide front desk support by directing visitors, managing deliveries, and handling inquiries.
- Assist with various administrative tasks as assigned by manager.
Skills:
- Customer Service:
Excellent customer service skills for greeting visitors, handling inquiries, and improving guest satisfaction is our top goal.
Previous customer service experience is required.
- Computer literacy:
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google systems, and, other relevant software programs on Windows-based operating systems.
Previous experience with reservation management systems is highly preferred, but not required.
- Front desk support:
Ability to assist with organizing and coordinating guest reservations, including new or returning guests, cancelations, guest feedback, and more.
- Coordination:
Ability to assist coordinating and prioritizing assigned tasks within or with other departments to ensure timely completion, including unplanned circumstances.
- Team and solo skills:
Ability to work well with others as well as independently to complete required tasks on time.
- Administrative skills:
Ability to handle various administrative tasks effectively.
- Data entry:
Accurate and efficient data entry skills for processing reports.
- File management:
Strong organizational skills to maintain physical and electronic files.
- Proofreading:
Attention to detail to assist identifying errors in written materials.
- Money handling:
Previous experience handling deposits and mathematic competency is required.
- Transcription:
Ability to transcribe information accurately.
